Board Meeting

The LMKPLID regular meeting schedule.

Updates

LMKP-LID residents,

In response to some rumors, the LMKP-LID will not be assessing the membership for construction of the navigational channel between Kerbs and Little McDonald lakes. The LID will fundraise to cover the cost of constructing the channel; the cost will be in the $45-50k range using a local contractor. More details will follow in a letter to be sent to all LID residents later this week.

In addition, the Board of Directors will recommend changes to our By-Laws at the annual meeting.  The changed red-line items can be viewed on our website, (lmkp-lid.com). A clean final copy is also posted. If you have any questions, please send them to a Board member before the Annual meeting. The Board will also complete unfinished business from the June 23, 2021 board meeting, on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, 1:00 P.M. This meeting will be held at the ITOW Veterans Museum, 806, West Main, Perham, MN.

Sincerely,

LMKP-LID Board of Directors

LMKP-LID Residents,
The LMKP-LID was informed on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 that the LID application for the Department of Natural Resources approval and a permit to construct a navigational channel between Kerbs Lake and Little McDonald Lake has been approved.

A question surfaced regarding the lake classification of Kerbs Lake and would this now change. Julie Aadland, Area Hydrologist for the DNR answered this question on 5-27-2021 in an e-mail response. "Kerbs Lake will remain a Natural Environment Lake. No change will be made in the lake classification."

Complete updates and details, of this project, will be presented at the Annual Membership meeting scheduled for July 10,2021, 9:00 A.M. at Perham High School.
